Orange week w.47

On November 25, the United Nations has declared an international day free from violence against women. The day is called Orange Day and aims to raise awareness and combat violence against women and girls.

In connection with that day, Örnsköldsvik has announced Orange week – a week free from violence, where Örnsköldsvik municipality, Women’s Shelter, MoDo Hockey, County Administrative Board, Local Police and other local actors collaborate to spread knowledge and strengthen the prevention work. Here you will find the entire program and links to the organizations that participate:[LINK]

At Domsjö Fabriker, we want to show that we support the Orange Week initiative in Örnsköldsvik Municipality and thus help to contribute to change in society.

The orange color of our high-visibility jackets is seen every day, but this week we wear it with extra pride. It symbolizes safety, respect and our common stand against violence – both at work and in society at large.

Violence should never be accepted and together we can make a difference.
