Study visit temporarily paused

Study visits from companies and schools from grade 7 and up (groups only, no private individuals), are welcome to make inquiries about study visits from autumn 2026. Until then, unfortunately, we are not able to receive any study visits.

At 12:00 noon on Thursdays and Fridays, alarms are tested in the industrial area. Alarms heard at other times are various types of process-related alarms and are handled internally by the respective companies within the area. These alarms do not pose any danger to the public.

*In the event of a potential danger to the public, a Public Warning System (VMA) alert will be issued. The VMA alarm is tested at 3:00 PM on the first non-holiday Monday in March, June, September, and December.

VMA (Viktigt Meddelande till Allmänheten) is a Swedish public warning system used in the event of accidents, serious incidents, or disruptions that may threaten life, health, property, or the environment. Alerts may be issued via outdoor warning sirens (“Hesa Fredrik”), radio and television broadcasts, or mobile phone notifications, depending on the type of event.

For questions or clarification regarding alarms, please contact the gatehouse during daytime hours, 7 AM–4 PM, at +46 660 27 56 91.

At the High Coast Innovation Park, several different companies and businesses operate within the same industrial area.

For us at Domsjö Fabriker, active and responsible environmental work is a natural part of our business. We work systematically to reduce our impact on water, air, odor and noise. Our operations are covered by an environmental permit with stringent statutory requirements – and we also have our own ambitious environmental targets that drive our improvement work forward.
Through our HSEQ department, we carry out continuous checks and follow-ups to ensure that we meet both regulatory requirements and our own internal standards. This allows us to quickly identify any deviations and take action at an early stage.

As several businesses are active in the area, it can sometimes be difficult to determine which actor is causing a possible disturbance. If you experience something that you think may be linked to our activities, you are always welcome to contact us. We see the dialog with our neighbors and local residents as an important part of our environmental work.

As a contractor, you report your arrival at the guardhouse and show your SSG card. It will be checked that the SSG General and Local training courses have been completed.

Your contact person at Domsjö Fabriker will inform the guardhouse of the details of your arrival. The contractor’s supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the assignment is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and local safety rules.

Domsjö factories have high standards of fire protection and safety. The laws and regulations of the labor market have therefore been complemented by local safety rules. If something undesirable happens, we are well prepared with emergency plans and our own well-trained rescue team with significant fire protection equipment.

Our values

To start working with us, it is important that we share the same values. Our core values are Integrity, Commitment, Passion, Open-mindedness and Speed.

We prioritize;
  • sponsorship contexts within Örnsköldsvik municipality that are aimed at a larger part of the municipality’s inhabitants and activities with a clear children and youth activity.
  • partners who, like us, have a strong environmental profile, make a difference for the environment and have active sustainability work
  • collaborations that put Domsjö Fabriker in a positive context, which we can proudly share in our own marketing channels
  • whole associations rather than individual teams
  • businesses that actively promote diversity, inclusion and equal treatment
We do not sponsor;
  • political party organizations
  • religious organizations
  • organizations whose culture and activities contradict our values
  • narrow organizations that reach only a small group of people

Domsjö Fabriker wants to make a positive contribution to society and our local area. If your values are in line with ours, you are welcome to submit your application via our online form, which is open for applications between January and March each year.

An organization number is required to apply.
