About the job

As an Operations Engineer in our Fiber Block, you will be a key player in one of our most central production parts. We offer you a dynamic environment where everyday life offers both technical challenges and opportunities for innovation.In the role of operations engineer, you belong to the production department and report directly to the block manager fiber. The production department consists of the fiber block, which includes the entire cellulose process from wood handling to drying machine hall including water supply and cooking liquid preparation, and a lye block that includes chemical recovery, production of lignin and bioethanol.

You work closely with operators and operations engineers to:

• Drive improvements and solve technical problems in real time
• Follow up and optimize key and usage figures

The fiber block consists of the departments Timber Handling, Coking Plant, Coking Liquid Preparation, Bleaching Plant, Drying Machine Room and Water Supply.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a civil engineer, preferably with a focus on cellulose, process technology, chemistry, energy or equivalent. We attach great importance to your personal qualities and are looking for you who are responsible, appreciate cooperation and have a drive to develop both in the job and as a person. You should also be able to work independently. As we are a global player, you are fluent in written and spoken English. Operational experience and knowledge of the Domsjö process is an advantage.
