Your role
As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing our accounting function and its processes. You will:
- Responsible for implementing best practices in accounting and ensuring good quality and efficiency of legal reporting
- Manage and coach members of the accounting team
- Responsible for overall financial accounting and reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as annual accounts and tax returns
- Contact person with auditors and authorities
- Develop accounting and reporting processes, procedures and systems support
- Support the CFO and management in accounting related matters
Who are you? We are looking for people who have:
- Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent skills acquired by other means
- At least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting and financial statement work, preferably from industrial or international operations
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards including technical aspects of Swedish accounting and tax rules
- Experience in leadership and ability to develop teams
- Ability to listen in, take own decisions, is analytical and solution oriented.
- As we are going through a change journey with streamlining processes and routines to achieve a long-term and sustainable function, it is meritorious if you have previously been involved in driving such a “change management process”
- Good understanding of systems and interest in developing processes
- Good knowledge of the Office package and very good knowledge of Excel. Experience with Oracle and SAP financial systems would be an advantage
- You are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
